Weeding ramps for narrow, grass-covered vines

Narrow vineyard herbicide booms – Agricultural equipment – equipment for tractors and cultivators.

Our experience in protected herbicide application led us to build an entirely new boom for grass-covered vines, taking into account the specific requirements of this type of crop

Amazing results!

tractor-mounted weed control boom for narrow vines

Easy settings

multi-row mounting of weeding booms for narrow vines

Multi-row mounts

Precision spraying in all seasons and in complete safety

Mounted on the central chassis, the 2 floating arms fitted with ø370 discs provide constant ground clearance for the nozzles and clearly delimit the grassed and weeded areas.

Each disc is covered by a polyester hood fitted with a flexible polyurethane flap, which flips away smoothly as the vine passes over it, for confined spraying between the disc and the hood.

Possibility of adding a 40 or 50 cm intermediate hood (for total spraying).

Advantages :

Width adjustment of disc position by sliding on the central frame.

Lateral adjustment of the cover in relation to the disc and angular adjustment of the cover.

Orientation of air injection nozzles equipped with anti-drip filters.

Presentation

This herbicide boom has been designed for narrow, grassy vineyards. Combined with an optional 40 or 50 cm intermediate hood, it can be used for total spraying. Can be mounted on straddle tractors or vineyard tractors.

Absolute spray safety

  • Winter/spring treatments: at bud break
  • Summer treatments: no risk of projection onto foliage
  • Autumn treatment of brambles: total safety at a time of great vine sensitivity

Guaranteed spray efficiency

The protected ramp principle offers 2 essential advantages:

  • The active ingredient is precisely positioned with no drift, and therefore no variation in spray concentration.
  • The tall grass is first laid down and then sprayed, receiving a much greater quantity of active ingredient than with open-air spraying.

Description

  • 2 floating arms fitted with ø370 discs are mounted on the central frame, providing constant ground clearance for the nozzle and clearly delimiting the grassed area.
  • Each disc is topped by a polyester hood fitted with a flexible polyurethane flap that flips away smoothly as the vine passes over it. Spraying is thus confined between the disc and the cover.
  • Width adjustment of disc position by sliding on the central frame.
  • Lateral adjustment of the cover in relation to the disc and angular adjustment of the cover.
  • Air-injected nozzles can be oriented in any direction (vertical, angular), offering a wide range of possibilities.

A version with integrated hydraulic integrated hydraulic lift, allowing inter-row tractor mounting, crawler and special mounting.

ATTENTION

This table gives the flow rate per hectare for a spray width of 1 m.

Example: for a 1.30 m plantation

Grassed area:0.5 m Sprayed area 0.80 m ( 2x 0.40 )

travel speed 5 Km/h Blue nozzle

The flow rate/ha over 1 m would be 240 l, so the actual flow rate is 240 : 0.8, i.e. 300 litres/ha sprayed.
