Guaranteed spray efficiency

The protected ramp principle offers 2 essential advantages:

• The active ingredient is precisely positioned with no drift, and therefore no variation in spray concentration.
• The tall grass is first laid down and then sprayed, receiving a much greater quantity of active ingredient than with open-air spraying.

Our experience in protected herbicide application led us to build a boom for orchards, taking into account the specific requirements of this type of crop. It has enabled us to develop a boom with precision spraying, effective in all seasons and in complete safety.

The double-groove attachment mounted underneath the tractor, between the front and rear wheels, allows quick removal of the weed control boom.

• Width adjustment is performed by a set of 2 slides.
• Angular adjustment of the spray head for ridge planting.
• Shock-absorbing spring retracts the protective cover.

FIXING :

• A double gogue allows the assembly of a left and/or right ramp. This part is attached to the underside of the tractor between the front and rear wheels. Boom disassembly takes just a few seconds, with the double-groove remaining permanently on the tractor (see 3-point chassis).

SETTINGS :

Width adjustment is performed by :

• A set of 2 complete slides.
• An angular adjustment (manual or cylinder) of the spray head for ridge planting.

CANT CONTROL :

• A system of connecting rods allows the boom to float, even when the lifting cylinder is blocked.
• What’s more, an adjustable balancing spring neutralizes the weight of the boom, which can then follow the profile of the ground, via an adjustable terrage wheel (manual or cylinder, see option).
• As soon as the lifting cylinder is actuated, the float system is neutralized and the boom is raised almost vertically.

RETRACTING THE PROTECTIVE COVER :

A spring and shock absorber allow the hood to retract as it passes over an obstacle, returning quickly and smoothly.

• Correct positioning of the damping spring’s anchoring points generates a virtually constant retraction force over the entire travel of the hood.
• A “soft” and a “hard” position are provided.

PROCESSING WIDTH :

• The 45 cm diameter retractable hood, equipped with a mirror nozzle and drip filter, allows a treatment width of 45 to 55 cm, depending on the height of adjustment. additional hood combinations of 40 or 50 cm possible.
